I love the more natural looking table wear. I was just searching to see how long brown lentils take in my rice cooker.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Very nice ❤❤❤❤
i love to see other cultures and their eating habits, im from Argentina and here people always have for breakfast ultraprocessed sugary foods (cookies, pastries, etc) or maybe leftover pizza. And the food is basically processed carbohidrates whit meat at the 4 meals (here we have 4, in the afternoon the "merienda" which people eat more ultraprocessed sugary food). Luckily I stay away from all of that even though my family eats that way.

I cant eat rice and tuna early in the morning, I would vomit that would be more of a lunch or dinner for myself. But looks delish!
japan has access to a lot of natural grown foods vs america where even organic foods in stores still have chemicals. the best way to combat this is growing your own food or shop local farms and can your foods. also i hope sleeping with your babies catches on more cuz its so cozy!
Always elegant

Very beautiful video. I just recently bought miso paste for the first time and I'm obsessed! I would really love to buy a nice bowl to have my miso soup with and share this joy with my family and friends as well 😊❤
@@ramizureikat3793 I'm so glad you enjoy miso!! You can use miso for pasta and stir-fry too! Very versitile✨🧑🍳If you use my collection in your kitchen, that makes it so special😍❤️Thank you!
@@MiwasJapaneseCookingyour collection looks borderline stunning and I'm not "glazing" (as we young people say😅) at all but I've heard it's so hard to order online where I'm from so I'll see what I could do haha you've got my support though nonetheless I really liked your concept so I've just subscribed! Best of luck! 😁❤
I do meal prep almost every night after work so I can get a jump start when I wake up. I'll be tired and chopping veggies, cooking rice and making dashi until 1am. Then when I wake up, I only need to deal with meat and the actual cooking. Most mornings it's just miso and tea. Meal prep lasts at least 2 days for 2 of us, so it's really only a couple nights a week that I have to do it.

This reminds me of the meals my host family in Gunma prefecture used to make for breakfast. I had never tried Japanese food before then but those meals are still some of the most delicious and memorable.

Why does my kombu broth taste so strange?
@@aurora.andromeda5687 when you boil kombu broth, it starts to taste too seaweedy. might be the reason why?
@@MiwasJapaneseCooking Yes, I boiled it, and it tastes like boiled seawater with seaweed. I'm not sure if it's an acquired taste, or if there's anything else that could be done to make it taste better.
I don't know why you japanese add so many ingredients, like you can't eat anything without sauce or other flavor. You mention your kids don't eat raw veggies, why is that? In my family we grow our food, our favorite summer dish was tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese. Only salt added, not even mixed. Why all those preparations since salad tastes great as a salad?
I really like your representation, you talk calm, not too formal, the recipe is easy to do and well explained. I just dislike the way you mix food with hands, I believe if you cook for someone else than your family it might be accepted not so well. I never eat food someone touched with hands.

It’s not the side dishes that would make me gain any weight but it’s the absolutely delicious Japanese rice. But if you can portion out your rice it’s easier to lose or at least not gain weight. One cup of Japanese rice is about 257 calories and 59 grams of carbs. I love putting one cup of rice into my healthy low calorie miso soup or hot green tea in one cup of rice and eating it with fermented (kimchee and tsukemono etc) and non fermented vegetable side dishes that are literally pretty much zero calories or putting furikake on top both are healthy and very low calorie and extra yummy! So I allow myself to have one cup of rice for a meal often I’m also diabetic and need to watch my carbs. But I can handle the carbs with exercise or insulin. Anyways, Japanese white rice is fairly healthy. So I don’t feel bad and if I eat the rice that way I mentioned earlier I can actually lose weight while feeling pretty full. Rice is so versatile in the ways it can be eaten. If you want to be extra healthy you can combine it with brown rice or Japanese style beans. It’s so yummy eating Japanese food!!
